Hello,

This afternoon, from 4 to 5pm I found both the juvenile Ruff and a Sharp
tailed Sandpiper at the Oyehut Game Range, from the Tonqin access. The
birds moved around quite a bit and were stirred once by the friendly
neighborhood Peregrine. It seemed that the Ruff favored a pond in front of
the big dead log off to the right. Also present among other common,
expected shorebirds were 2 Lapland Longspurs. Dianna Moore says that
hunting season begins tomorrow at Oyehut.
