Hello Tweets,
Both LEWIS'S WOODPECKERS were still present at the spot Arn and Kathy
Slettebak first reported them on Saturday as of 5:30pm this evening
and good looks were obtained by several birders. The birds were moving
between the main snag, several other trees in the area, and some
blackberry bushes against the fence line. I was concerned I might have
trouble finding the spot since I came from the north parking lot, but
it ended up being no issue. In case anyone needs any additional
direction here is a link to the exact spot where the birds are being
seen:

Other good birds seen in my brief visit were a flock of roughly 25
EVENING GROSBEAKS that flew over near the woodpeckers, a pair of
ORANGE CROWNED WARBLERS and a single YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER mixed in
with some CHICKADEE sp. and an ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD near where Montana
Circle meats Disc. Park Blvd.
