I was going to send out an August report of turkey vultures, but I have none so will wait and do one for September. Luckily, I have a few for September. Be sure
and look up and about in September. That is the main migration month for turkey vultures heading south. Often large flocks pass by over Seattle and nearby areas.
It's always exciting to see a hundred or so of these large birds slowly heading south. Much easier to count than the tiny Vaux's swift.
