As the tide was coming in on Monday, 9/17 I was able to observe & photograph the Long-billed Curlew that has been frequenting the Northpoint/KGY radio building tidelands in Olympia. The sandpiper put on quite an entertaining display, burrowing in the mud, capturing several small shore crabs. There are a few images from that viewing session here:
