I have found four juveniles living together. The last time I saw an adult with them was three days ago. This is a first from what I have observed, normally the parents try to spread the young out to get them on their own, it maybe that this river is narrower and territories are much shorter, but I have never seem this many stay together this late in the season. They are completely on their own and hunting, swimming, flying and bickering quite well. This also means that they are at least thirty days past fledging.

They have just started a molt cycle, but have not lost their wing feathers yet. They are looking scruffy and I have gotten some good pictures; this event will be a good update for my e-book.

The dipper pair at Dungeness Forks have replaced Schr?dinger's cat, I may have an answer someday.
