Around 9 AM on Sunday, a quite low tide, a Great Egret was seen by many people near the start of the tidal boardwalk. The bird was on the side about half-way between the start and the blind structure. Returning at higher tide near noon the bird had moved elsewhere. Also a western grebe was fishing in the creek about 3/4 of the way out the boardwalk.

Also of interest- a pair of crow wings and a pile of feathers on a bench, clearly the left overs from some raptor feeding, a kestrel buzzing crows in a bush. Compared to Wednesday, a large number of goldfinches have moved in and joined the sparrow flocks. 40 species seen, 2 more heard in a couple of hours.
