Yesterday morning I birded the South Beach of Discovery Park up to
the Westpoint Lighthouse. My best bird was a HORNED LARK foraging
amongst the debree along the shoreline. This was the first Horned
Lark that I had seen at the park and brought my Discovery Park total
up to 145 species. A few of the birds seen included:

WESTERN GREBE - 4
RED-NECKED GREBE
RHINOCEROS AUKLET
PIGEON GUILLEMOT
PELAGIC & DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS
HEERMANN'S, MEW, CALIFORNIA, and GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULLS
HORNED LARK

Cheers and Good Birding;
