My wife and I just got to smoky Missoula, after taking a somewhat leisurely trip across the state.

This morning, there wasn?t much at Sprague Lake, but there was a MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD and an AMERICAN PIPIT near the intersection of Wellsandt Rd and Arlt Rd., NW of the lake in Adams County.

At Davenport Cemetery, there was a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW near the maintenance building, as well as many RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS. My wife saw a HERMIT THRUSH, which I missed.

Reardon Ponds were pretty quiet, with just the ordinary coots and ducks, plus one AMERICAN PIPIT.
