Subject: [Tweeters] White Throated Sparrow at Fill

Between errands today I had a chance to stop by
the Montlake Fill at around 10:00 a.m. hoping to
find the White Throated Sparrow reported
yesterday. I happily can report that it was found
in the grove near Wedding Rock (same place as seen
yesterday). It is an immature and is VERY
secretive. It was seen three separate times but
only once at all out in the open and then only for
a few seconds - unfortunately too little time for
my slow focusing camera. The other times (in
different shrubs) it was truly buried.

Also seen in about 20 minutes (all in the same
grove) were many Bushtits, 2 Spotted Towhees, 3
Steller's Jays, a Flicker, 8 Crows, a Song
Sparrow, 4 Black Capped Chickadees and an immature
warbler that I am searching photo files to try to
identify.
