Hey Tweets...While on a short drive on the beach at low tide north of the
Damon Rd access (northern border of Ocean Shores) I came across several
large gatherings of mixed shorebirds, one of which contained 21 Marbled
Godwits feeding among the mix of Sanderling, Western and Least Sandpipers,
and good numbers of Dunlin coming into breeding plumage.

It was interesting to watch the birds as they fed at the surf line...with
the Sanderlings racing back and forth with the edge of the waves, and the
main body of sandpipers and godwits eating on the upper edges of the wet
sand.
