Last Thursday my sister and I were at Royal Lake and found between two and three hundred Snow Geese at the west end of the lake. They stayed pretty well segregated from the rest of the geese and ducks on the lake but around the margins of the main mass of snow geese there was some intermingling of species. In the 10 years I've been going over to Othello at this time of year this is by far the most snow geese I've ever seen there. In 2012 we counted around 10 or so combined from various locations.
