The Burke Museum's Herbarium has now released its long-awaited Washington Wildflower app. Please go to: http://bit.ly/flwrapp for further info and to check it out.

On the bird front, our yard continues to host large flocks of Pine Siskins. Also, this is the first year that we've noted a couple of resident White-Crowned Sparrows. We've had a few in the past, but they only hung around briefly. These guys have been around for many weeks, and are now singing regularly.
