Thanks to all who sent suggestions about South
Texas/guides etc. We landed in Dallas this
evening and head south on Sunday after the
wedding. We are set with a guide for a day, a
boat trip, an itinerary and even places to eat and
stay...will be fun.

How is this for a welcome to Texas - from the
plane taxiing in across the open fields of DFW
around 6 tonight: 1 Red Shouldered Hawk, 1
Scissor Tailed Flycatcher and 3 Upland
Sandpipers. No Dorothy (or Blair) you are not in
Kansas (or Seattle) anymore...
