We have been seeing large groups of Common Merganser for approximately a week. Sightings have been in Capitol Lake in the southern and middle basin and in Budd Bay, viewing from upstairs in Bayview Market. Have counted up to 58 in one group and have also seen them on other days in groups of around 30.
