Hi Tweeters,

The YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER attended her wells across the swamp 2.3 miles
south of Darrington for about 5 minutes at 9 AM this morning (4/14). I'd
been there for 35 minutes and had located the wells from the excellent
directions of previous posters and had my scope trained on them, but was
distracted by other birds and didn't see her come in. I watched her with
great looks at the top of the wells for 3-4 minutes when she dropped to the
lower more obscured part of the tree for a couple minutes and then flew
back behind and out of sight. I heard no calls, just the very light tapping.
