There has been a white throated sparrow regularly visiting my feeder since
mid October of this year. Today I heard the "Old Sam PeaPody" call that I
remember so well from growing up in Ohio. If this is the same bird that has
been here for the last three winters, it will be gone in the next two-three
weeks. Good to hear the call, but a tinge of sadness that it will be out of
here soon.
