The red cross-bills made another appearance around 11:00am in their usual pine trees around Gallaghers.?? Around 5:00pm I saw a dowitcher (long-billed?) and two small sandipers which I think? were westerns out in the marsh.?

Looking south up on the ridge of? Pt. Edwards, 3-4 bald eagles provided action as they circles and sparred with each other.? It was hard to tell looking at the backlit? sky through the 400mm end of my 100-400 zoom from the #2 (main) viewing platform of the marsh, but I believe the distribution was three juvies and one adult.? My son and I drove up to Pt. Edwards and photographed two juvies perched on the flat-topped spar while a red-tailed hawk flew by.? After the juvies flew off we saw an adult perched in one of the tall firs at the end of Chinook Rd.??

In all of the excitement of my Sunday sighting of a yellow throat, I forgot to mention that I also saw some cedar waxwings and a Savannah sparrow.
