Yesterday morning I spent a few hours birding around the
Stillwater WMA near Carnation. Things were pretty quiet overall
although COMMON YELLOWTHROATS were very vocal. A few of the better
birds seen included:

AMERICAN BITTERN - Nice looks at one bird

TURKEY VULTURE - a single bird flying over

VIRGINIA RAIL - several calling at different locations

BAND-TAILED PIGEON

CLIFF SWALLOW - A few at the Chinook Bend Natural Area
