Just a report--as I was driving northbound on I-5 at the Nisqually River
bridge, I got to see a peregrine hit a rock pigeon in flight. Feathers
flew and the falcon avoided getting struck by a vehicle--somehow!
Also was a mature bald eagle in a tree right next to the road!
