Hi Tweeters,
Casey, and I went birding with my mom yesterday on the 27th around 11:00am
in the Ferndale Flats . No curlew at the intersection of Ulrich and
Inhuff: however there was a flock of 20 whimbril and about a 100 Northern
pipits. We then headed down to Lampman rd where we found a pair of
Cinnamon teal and 3 Blue-winged teal in the ditches on the right side of
the rd. There were also lots of sora and Virgina rail calling in the
grass. On the other side of the rd there was a huge flock of shorebirds
including 1 Semipalmated plover 2 Lesser 4 Greater Yellowlegs, 150+ Least ,
50 Western, and 2 Solitary Sandpipers feeding in the mud.
