Tweets, I had constant companionship while doing yard work Monday
afternoon. I could hear the occasional soft "tsip-ping" of warblers all
around. Out of curiosity I pished beneath a hawthorn tree that was largely
sheltered from the incessant wind. Immediately, as if materialized from out
of nowhere, 10-12 Orange-crowned Warblers rushed to investigate. Amazing! I
continue to marvel at the wonder of spring migration! Good birding!
