Hi again -

On the way home from Naches Pass, I stopped at Boeing Ponds and ran into Grace & Ollie Oliver and Bobbie & Curtis Pearson -- they had all the shorebirds lined up for me -- nice!
Boeing Ponds appears to have some excellent mud for shorebirds right now -- given the lack of mud in King County, it probably will be a good magnet to keep checking in the coming weeks.

All told, we came up with 9 species of shorebird , concentrated in the Northeast corner:
Semipalmated Plover - 1
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 1
Pectoral Sandpiper - 2
Solitary Sandpiper - 1
Lesser Yellowlegs - 1 [maybe 2?]
Long-billed Dowitcher - 11
Spotted Sandpiper - several young-uns bobbing their tail-less rumps and looking mighty cute
Least Sandpiper - 6 or so
Killdeer - 1

Also, around on the south side, we were able to relocate the NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD found a few days ago -- puts to rest my theory that the Disco Park bird was the same one!

All in all, a good day of King County birding!
