With the help of a very helpful Jonathan Bent, I think I have uploaded 4 of
the images of the Magpie that is visiting up in Auburn.

I am new to this, so I don't know if the link will work, but here is the

My wife had an idea that he/she may have headed over here from Eastern
Washington due to the fires around Ellensburg. Sounds plausible to me.
(Dr. Paulson, want to weigh in???)

I have had a few people say that if he sticks around they'd like to come
out and see him. That sounds good to me. I will keep you posted.

He/she was still here about 7:30 PM tonight. I will check tomorrow. (I
keep saying he/she because I believe there is no sexual dimorphism in
Magpies.)

By the way, this is the 90th bird species we have seen on our property!
