Does WA not have a West Nile Virus monitoring program?

This is a quote from the Pensylvania web site:
"The West Nile virus infects certain wild birds. The infected birds, especially crows, are known to get sick and die from the infection. Reporting of dead birds is a good way to check for West Nile virus activity in the environment and allow implementation of prevention and control measures to minimize the spread of the virus. "

I guess there are not many reported cases of West Nile in Washington yet ?

I called DFW.? For item 1 they filled out a form for the Dept. of Health, but said that due to limited funding probably nothing would be done.? Regarding item 2 they said that nothing could be done.
