Has there been a recent downslope movement of Mountain Chickadees lately? Just shortly after noon today I saw one at my feeders here in Mason County. It was hanging with a small group of BC Chickadees. I've never had one here before so it's a new yard bird. I'm at 385' on a ridge on the east side of the Tahuya River valley.

I had to do a double-take when I first saw it but the 'eyebrow' strip was quite evident. Hopefully it will be back with the rest of the chickadees so I can get a photo.
