Dear Sandy and Tweeters,
?
I am seeing the exact same thing here at my place in Skagit County, a pair at the feeder every day, one bird of which is considerably paler.
?
Yours truly,

>Tweeters,
>The presumed female of a pair of Eurasian Collared-Doves that visit my yard appears lighter colored to the naked eye than its mate.? Were it a? Ringed Turtle/Ring-necked Dove, I believe it would be called pied or pied fawn.? It has many pale buffy or white spotches over most of its body and its tail is lighter colored.
