Hello Tweeters,

I spent the weekend at Pt-No-Pt on the Kitsap Peninsula and had good numbers of Common Terns both days. Low tide was mid-morning and the Terns settled down in a small groups on the tideflats with 4 species of Gulls and Caspian Terns allowing for close study. The highest count I had for the weekend was 48 yesterday afternoon. The best access to these flats is at Norwegian Point Park which is just North of Pt-No-Pt itself.

Then yesterday afternoon at about 3 PM there was a juvenile Franklin's Gull feeding on the water with Bonaparte's Gulls just North of the Point.
