Many thanks to all the Tweeters who offered advice on the grackle. The bird
was waiting for me at Sam Peach park when I arrived at 9.10am. While I
didn't have to tour the outskirts of Puyallup taking in such worthy sights
as the garbage truck depot, it was heartening on the drive down to have a
contingency plan that was more than just staging a sit-in at the park and
hoping!
