On the way to Mt. Rainier yesterday (August 22, Thursday), I stopped by Sam Peach Park in Puyallup. At 07:30, the male Great-tailed Grackle that has been seen regularly at the park since it was first reported back in early August, was feeding on the lawn with several crows. Sam Peach Park is off SR 167 about 5 miles east of I-5. Turn right (south) on 15th St (which is marked by a small sign between two car dealerships), go 3/10 of a mile to 10 Ave. The park in on the corner of 10th Ave and 15th St. Thanks to all who have posted about the Grackle!
