No ELTE's at Tokeland yet this morning, though there are hundreds of other larids and shorebirds to pick through.
A stop at Midway Beach was more interesting, though. ?Just past the inundated part of the "trail" leading from the gate, in the cordoned off Snowy Plover nesting area off to the right, was a single Buff-breasted Sandpiper. ?
You'll definitely have to get your feet wet to find it...
