Subject: [Tweeters] Long-billed Murrelet off north end of Sunset in Edmonds
Date: Aug 25 11:41:11 2013
From: Todd S Hass - thass at uw.edu

Seen this morning, 8/25. Appeared to be in first alternate plumage (pale
underwing linings, per Thompson et al. 2003) with prominent pale chin and
sides of throat. See a total of three times between ~7am-9am for about 30
minutes total as it kept diving/disappearing. Dennis Duffy and Ted
Petersen saw it for 20 and 10 of those minutes, respectively.
Unfortunately, not relocated between 9-10:10 when we left.
