Chris and Tweeters,

The Great Egret has been at Mud Bay at least since August 25th, when I saw
it there while returning from a WFO/WOS field trip to Ocean Shores. I'm not
sure how unusual this species is in the Olympia area, but it seems to be
rarer there than in the Grays Harbor area.

At 2:45 today I found a Great Egret wading in Mud Bay, Thurston County. It
was in the area between Mud Bay Rd and US 101.
