Today I was mildly surprised to see a Ruddy Duck on Sikes Lake in the Snoqualmie Valley.? It swam the length of the lake?including under the bridge that I was on.? There were also two Pied-billed Grebes.? Last winter about 40 Ruddy Ducks spent the winter on Lake Joy.
