It's 8 AM, Tuesday morning. My wife woke me up a half hour ago to tell me a snowy owl was sitting in our yard.? She was?walking the dog.? I didn't believe her but she showed me a photo she took on her I-phone.? It's not great but it is a snowy owl. It was sitting on a mound of blackberry bushes I had cut down yesterday on a spot where our dog had discovered guts and fir from a previous kill three days ago?so we think it has been here for several days.??The bird is in the neighborhood of Point Fosdick between 8th Steet and ?4th?Street.
