Yesterday at 4 pm, I was at Lower Oak Bay park, near Pt Hadlock, and several
hundred wigeons flew in.

he flock split and landed on the edges of the estuary.

The flock came back together, and all went up on the grassy banks! - out
of the water. It was supposed to be down in the 20s last night.

I had never seen this before. But then, I had never been there as dark was
coming on and the temp dropping below 30 degrees. Smart birds!
