Hi Tweets

I stopped by Tracy Owen/Log Boom park in Kenmore at mid-day today. Lots of birds on the north end of Lake Washington. Because of backlighting some i.d.s were difficult, but there were probably up to 1500 American Coots, a couple of hundred Gadwall, many Greater and Lesser Scaup, scattered Bufflehead, Hooded Mergansers, Ring-necked Ducks, a few American Wigeon, a few Northern Shovelers and Mallards, and at least 5 Canvasbacks and at least 2-3 Redheads. A couple of Double-crested Cormorants.

Its nice to finally see good numbers of birds back here.

Good Birding
