I put wool socks over my 3 feeders this past week and added hand warmers to
help keep them from freezing. Our temps have been in the teens and twenties
during the day. The male Andy poked the sock to see what it was doing
there. He's so cute all puffed up in his downy feathers. It's amazing how
they can survive the freezing temps.

I have two Slate-colored Juncos wintering with a large flock of juncos
using my feeders.
