At least one varied thrush continues to hang out in my and my neighbors' backyards.? I have come to recognize its trilling type calls. The thrush is such a colorful bird and I hope it lingers in our yards to brighten up our drab PNW winter days. ??
The thrush is difficult to photogrpraph as it likes to stay on the ground and under the foliage.? My best shots of it are when it briefly straddles the fence between my and my neighbor's backyards.
