There are still four (4) Sandhill cranes present in a farm field in South
Elma; 3 weeks ago there were 32 of them but as of today, only 4 remain.
Quite a nice sight this late in the year; roughly 100 Trumpeter Swans as
well in the same farm field. If interested, you might be able to get a
peek-a-boo view of them from Dunlap Road off of Highway 12.
