My feeder is swarmed with goldfinches and juncos but only an occasional siskin this year + 1 varied thrush under it and almost nothing else. In previous years goldfinch and siskins were both present in almost equal numbers, depending on which was the more aggressive. All chickadees are black-capped, while last year there was a good mix with chestnut-backeds.

Saw two female Townsend's warblers on the ground feeding on the wood chips at the NW corner of Meadowbrook Pond yesterday.
