Hi tweeters,

I'm headed to Mazama for a week, leaving from Seattle. Are there any spots that I should check out there (or along the way) given the time of year? I did just get a copy of "A Birder's Guide to Washington," but it looks like winter isn't the best time of year for finding birds around Mazama. It's new territory for me for birding.
