The Townsend's Warbler that showed up last week has extended his holiday vacay at our place. Pete, as we call him (old Who fans know why we named him so. And, yes, I realize the slight difference in the spelling of the last name) is now visiting both the suet and seed feeders.

Didn't find any warblers at all during our CBC on Saturday, so we appreciate our visitor hanging out with us.

Our yard continues to be quite busy with several Dark-eyed Juncos, White-crowned Sparrows, Am. Goldfinches, Song Sparrows, Bushtits, House Finches and, of course, Anna's hummers.

Nice to have the birds brighten up the dreary-looking days.
