Though my wife told the Canadian border officer that we were headed to Boundary Bay to see "both" of the Snowy Owls, we went over to the greenhouses by the 64th access to check reports about Long-Eared Owls. We didn't see those, but after sunset we spotted one, then two Snowies. They preceded to put on a show, engaging in some mid-air frolicking for several minutes before disappearing into the darkness.
