We birded Ediz Hook pretty thoroughly today but didn't find Long-billed
Murrelet, Thick-billed Murre or Short-tailed Shearwater. All the bills on
the myriads of Marbled Murrelets and Common Murre we scrutinized were
sadly, for us, as they should be. None the less it was a great outing that
started on a high note in Gardiner with the Emperor Goose, and ended at 3
Crabs on a very low note with a dead duck (hunter).
