Subject: [Tweeters] Songs of Winter

Hello Everybody,

To add to the songs that I have already been hearing for more than a week
now (including SONG SPARROWS, PACIFIC WRENS, and BLACK-CAPPED CHICKADEES) I
heard the song of a BEWICKS WREN yesterday on the westside of Olympia. All
the songs on the air, though still very wintery make me think of the
eventual coming of the yellow birds (and others!) and of spring. Also
growing in prominence are the vocalizations of a frog, the identity of
which I am still unsure, perhaps Pacific Treefrogs? Does anybody know the
common vocalizing frog around the Puget Sound right now?

Happy Birding,
