Tweeters: Diana Antunes and I had a pretty good day up in sunny Skagit Co. Best finds today were four SURFBIRDS at Williamson Rocks (just south of Allan-Burrows islands). The access here isn't easy, but near the eastern end of Biz Pt Rd there is a pulloff by some powerlines (before you descend down hill) where you can set up the scope and look out to the rocks. In addition,we had two late ANCIENT MURRELETS fly southbound off Washington Park, late for the species locally. Several of ourregular forest birds are beginning to sing, such as Hutton's Vireoand Brown Creeper. Scott AtkinsonLake Stevensmail to: scottratkinson at hotmail.com
