Hello Tweets,
My wife and I are going to be taking a cruise in early March that will
sail through the Gulf of Mexico and hit the following locations:
Costa Maya, Mexico
Belize City, Belize
Roatan, Honduras
Cozumel, Mexico

While the main purpose is not birding, I'm hoping to get at least a
little birding in while I'm down there. We're planning on trying to
hire a guide for the day in Belize. I've been having some difficulty
finding guides in the area, so any recommendations would be
appreciated. I would also appreciate any information from anyone who
has been to these locations or even just been on a cruise in the Gulf
as to what I might expect to see from the ship. Are there any pelagic
species present in the Gulf this time of year?

I have Steve Howell's Birds of Mexico on order and will bring a
Sibley's as well to get any migrants that might be wintering through.
