On Friday there were two dippers at water's edge where Lake Cushman waters spill into Hood Canal from the power house, at Potlatch. It seemed odd to me to be looking at dippers in what was essentially a marine shoreline habitat. Perhaps dippers are often in stream habitat with feet of marine areas. I'm just not used to seeing them in such places.
