Thanks for clarifying that, Dennis. I agree with they are not all that
disturbed or they would leave. There is a perfectly fine little island just
a bit east of Damon Point called Sand Island, looking very similar to Damon
Point, and when only one or two owls are being seen I wonder if they have
not retreated to it to wait out the daylight.
