This afternoon myself and two other birders saw a Ross's Goose in the pond
surrounding the park and ride off of Exit 88 (Rochester/Tenino). It was
keeping company with many canada geese and a strange mystery goose, likely
a hybrid. Pictures are at the link below. The bird flew to a nearby
agricultural field just south of the intersection of Apple Ave & Old Hwy
99, just a block east of the park and ride.
